Diners of Davoren Park don't have too many choices when it comes to eating out locally, but the Playford Tavern stands strong as a beacon of bistro nourishment. Forget the barbie, and let the chargrill kings turn up the heat on some seriously high-quality steak (it's tender, hormone-free, grain-fed beef from the trusted Graziers crew).
There's kangaroo fillet, beef scotch fillet, rump, and chicken mignon to choose from, unless you're attracted to the parmigianas, pastas, salads and seafood specialties also on offer here. The kids' specials, lunch specials and "burger or fish and beer" deal confirm the value for money you're getting at the Playford Tav.
