Charming, delicious and fun
Pizza Farro was absolutely packed last Thursday night when we popped in for a late-ish dinner. The staff were most accommodating and set us up at the front counter to wait for a table.
Once seated by the friendly and genuine waitress we ordered an osso bucco pizza and one marinara. Both were just divine. The osso buco was beyond tender and combined with the peppery rocket was a new pleasure. The marinara was chock-full of seafood and garlic and was terrific. Combined with a sangiovese from the wine list, the meal was superb and the service fun and not at all rushed or flustered, despite the place being absolutely jam packed.
If you like a place that greets and attracts all types (kid-friendly too), and most importantly does really really great pizza, give Pizza Farro a go.

Not as good as the reviews promised!
Sorry to say that our group of 4 was not impressed with the averageness of the whole experience. The worst part was the food - so deliciously described on the menu, yet so lacking in flavour and ingredients in reality. I asked for a pizza with spicy sausages and extra basil and all I got was a pizza with sausage and some cheese and tiny fragments of basil UNDER the sausage, that I could honestly say added up to about 5 leaves if lucky. I paid almost $20 for this boring pizza that I could have made much better at home for about $5 max! The other pizzas looked OK, but not interesting and the pasta looked the best, which is strange, considering it's a pizza restaurant. The service was OK, but nothing special, and the atmosphere was homely but not anything great. The decor is a bit old fashioned and mis-matched looking, but the food was just so dissappointing. To top it off, we came out to dinner in the rain and made the effort to go because of the shiny reviews

The best service in Melbourne!!!!
No petulant waiters here. The service is so genuine which is rare for Melbourne. I love the monthly pasta specials and the nuttella pizza. I had ordered takeway a few times and Im always greeted with a friendly face and someone to hold the door open whilst I exit laden with pizzas.

Best service in town
The staff are just so lovely and, as other reviewers have said, the pizzas are great too. You don't leave with that uncomfortable bloated feeling that pizza restaurants usually leave you with. Loved it. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic Pizza!! I am just so glad that restaurants are now catering for people with coeliac disease. I haven't had pizza like this for 15 years and you wouldn't believe how amazing it tastes after that amount of time. I can see I'm going to become a regular.
