After roaring successes in both Surry Hills and south of the border in St Kilda, the Pizza e Birra brand has branched out again, this time in Balmain. The success of the inner-west PeB is almost guaranteed thanks to the fantastic reputation garnered by its inner-city counterpart, but this is no cookie-cutter copy. This version of Birra has its own unique sense of style that is quintessentially Balmain.
Expect this instalment to remain true to the formula that has served its predecessors so well in the past: a smart list of classic, thin-crust pizzas augmented by rustic, regional Italian dishes and a well-rounded wine list (plus the obligatory house-label beers). Couple this with some of the best real estate Darling Street has to offer and this one it set to be a flyer from the get-go.
