Redfern's gentrification seems unstoppable at the moment, and as if to drive the point home here comes yet another astounding venue that calls the 2016 postcode home.
The moniker of Redfern's latest "it" venue is slightly misleading, as this is more of a cafe than a diner. Having said this, the standard of food on offer is well above that of your average cafe. With offerings like cumin and honey roasted pumpkin salad and Boston baked beans served with Iggy's Bread, it's no wonder this place has only just opened and is already consistently booked solid. Watch out for a pending liquor license and extended trading hours for Pitt St Diner to really start stretching its wings.
