The Pink Peppercorn, at the Taylor Square end of Oxford Street, serves tradition Laotian food with a twist. Laotian cuisine has both Chinese and French influences and is also similar to its next-door neighbour, Thailand, which has a sizeable Laotian community. The food is spicy, saucy and sweet with liberal doses of chilli, kaffir lime and lemongrass.
