Great Steaks!
Very pleasing dining experience. We tend to order steak when we are dining in pubs, as this seems to be the specialty of Qld pubs!! The Pineapple's steaks were cooked to perfection, with good chips & mustards. And we washed them down quite nicely with a schooner of Fat Yak, and glass of Pepperhack Shiraz. Very good selection of wines by the glass and boutique beer selection. Recommended!

Premium Prices..Budget steak.
We were greeted by a lovely staff member who took us to our table. The service was very good and professional. I ordered the Reef and Beef and my husband ordered the 400g rump steak. My daughter had the kids meal.
The kids meal was huge and mostly salad. The chicken was burnt and had a strange taste to it. Our steak was very thin and with far too much fat and ordinary for the price we paid for it!
We understand that this is a 'bistro' style restaurant but the quality should reflect price. Will not go back.

Surprise me!
Well an early dinner on a Sunday. We were met by 2 friendly staff members who guided us to our seat. I was dining with my 2 kids and was happy to see a decent menu for them, which also happened to be for them to color in! Meals ordered, drinks started and shortly after our dinner arrived. My steak was cooked to perfection with just a red wine jus for flavour and the roast for number 1 son was of good size and very nice, crumbed fish for number 2 just as plentiful and very nice as well. Minutes later we had 3 shiny plates and 3 smiling faces. For less than $50 the 3 of us had a very nice sunday dinner, vegies and all. Excellent :)
