Picco's Kitchen is one of those rare-as-hen's-teeth finds that single-handedly raises the value of living in your suburb. It's not so much the friendly staff or decidedly organic fare that sets Picco's apart, it's the intangible sense that this cafe is the result of people who are truly passionate about what they do.
In the am field, mushrooms are a stand-out dish from a solid breakfast menu that invites diners to stray from the egg 'n' toast norms, but it's the woodfired pizza and homemade gourmet pies that are the real winners once the sun begins to set. The only problem you'll find here is saving room for a slice of baked ricotta cake.
