Andy Phipps (aka Phippsy) is a bit of local celebrity, demonstrating his skills at both fishing and cooking with a host of cookbooks and television appearances. This hero to prawn-barbecuing blokes everywhere has opened his own restaurant in Coolum, employing his grill skills with a menu of seafood and steaks. Naturally, Queensland seafood dominates, alongside grain-fed Aussie beef. But there are also daily specials, which might feature more exotic treats.

More than just seafood
What a surprising little gem. We had a selection of entrees and shared a couple of main dishes. Everything from the trio of oysters, fresh snapper to the veal was first class. Definitely at the top of the list for the Sunshine Coast. You will not be disappointed!
