As part of the Phillip Island Golf Club, this restaurant lives and breathes golf. Entrees are called the tee-off, main courses are affectionately referred to as birdies, greens and other cuisines, and the dessert menu is, of course, the sweet spot.
The dining room looks out over long rolling fairways, a peaceful sight miles away from the frustration of actually playing the game. The menu is not extensive but covers a broad range of cuisines, from Mediterranean bruschetta to thick-cut grilled Aussie steaks, and a meal can be finished off with a very British bread and butter pudding.
Now everyone breathe a sigh of relief for the lack of a pun about holes-in-one.
