The lush, gorgeously maintained gardens that surround this heritage-listed Federation home are surely reason enough to pay it a visit, without even going into the culinary sensations of the restaurant space. The main dining room is lent a distinguished air by portraits and pretty wine bottles, and the private dining room is well separated from the rest of the restaurant. On the verandah, tables cluster together to oversee the glossy, manicured grounds.

Bad food. Good Service.
As mentioned, Peroni's has fairly good service but bad cuisine. My friend had a marinara that had tough tasting seafood on it and my steak sandwich was mediocre. Highly overpriced for what I've tasted so far, I say. Three stars for service though, since the waitresses and waiters were very accommodating. However the food took awfully long to be prepared leaving us hungry for over 40 minutes. Atmosphere is decent as the restaurant has a fairly warm/modern/spacey look to it however, it can tend to seem stuffy when its a full house.

Lacklustre
Went there for a birthday dinner. Had one of the set menus ($45 per head) and was quite disappointed with the overall quality of the food. The risotto was overcooked and mushy with little consistency. The penne dish had napoletana sauce that tasted like it was straight from the supermarket shelf and the creme brulee was like common carton custard with toffeed sugar on top. The steak was okay, nothing special. I don't know why it claims to be an Italian restaurant as there is nothing much Italian about it. Multicultural staff were friendly and efficient and surroundings were nice.
