Very disappointing
Our visit to Envy will be memorable as a truly disappointing experience. In spite of having very few customers,service was incredibly slow. The trio of dips was ok, but everything else we ordered was ordinary. Lamb salad was overpowered by too much balsamic vinegar; fish was dry; pork belly was not properly cooked; and the ceasar salad seemed to consist of mixed salad leaves, bits of bacon, stale croutons and an over-cooked egg. The only redeeming feature was that we were able to go across the road to Cream for dessert.

Awesome food
Not often you find a Big Brekky is actually a 'big' brekky that tastes fresh as well. Relaxed atmosphere, great service. I will be back. I might try dinner next time. I love finding funky little restaurants/ cafes in the suburbs!

Wow
I was disappointed when The Pepper Tree was closed down and replaced with Envy, but after giving it a go on a dinner date with my partner, any reservations I had quickly disappeared. The food at this beautiful private restaurant was OUTSTANDING! Fantastic, friendly service as well. Highly recommended!
