Pepper Chilli is a great experience
Pepper Chilli has got to have the best Chinese Sichuan food in Melbourne, especially spicy food! My family love the food that much we have made it our weekly treat! The restaurant is pretty popular so you really need to book ahead.
I think they are making traditional Sichuan meal which has quite different flavour as Guangdong restaurant. If you want to try Sichuan food, it is recommended by my chinese friend who said this is the best and realest one in Melbourne.

Nothing fine about this dining experience
Nothing to get excited about. This is a very average Chinese restaurant in Melbourne s China Town. Food is driven by the flavours and cooking techniques of the Sichuan Province yet the final dishes fail dismally. Very oily and decorated with a hoard of chillies that over power the otherwise beautifully fresh seafood. In the end all the food tastes the same.

The service and atmosphere is what you would expect, both are stark and dull. As the price is standard, there are definitely more vibrant and tasty options available next door.
