Located so close to the water as to be practically in it, the highlight of Pellegrini's is undeniably the marine views. With the evening lights sparkling on the water and boats chugging past in a leisurely fashion, the food could almost be incidental to the experience. However, there is no need to starve with a menu full of simple and appropriately aquatic dishes.

Expensive Extras
We booked a table at Pelligrini's Seafood Restaurant for a special occassion and to have some water views. The restaurant was quiet, yet we were sat where only one person could glimpse the water. Further to our disappointment, we were told that they didn't serve tap water. The waiter, who told us he had worked there for years, tried to get me to order something that was not even on the menu. Quite embarassing for him.
The food was beautiful, however they were extremely small portions for the price. The most disappointing of all for us was when the bill came and we were charged a 'cake surcharge'. I can understand why as it meant that none of us bought dessert. What I can't accept is when it was for more than the cake itself.
