Pecorino

Conveniently located on the quieter side of the train station, this Gordon eatery has the feel of a casual and low-key community cafe where you can read the paper before work, have a light bite with friends or meet for a social dinner. Wooden tables and chairs cover the small floor space inside, with a shaded outdoor spot good for couples or small groups. The modern Australian menu features everything from beef burgers to veal cutlet saltimbocca, with a variety of other salads, pastas, steaks and big breakfasts on hand. Of course, a hot cup of coffee never goes astray at this cute cafe.

Cosy, Quiet & Perfect for Sunday Brunch
Popped in for brunch on Sunday, just to see what the hype was about. The menu was simple and concise. I enjoyed the big breakfast I ordered. Flavours were just right, but still nothing exceptional. I tried a latte, which came out as being a little too harsh and with milk that has been stretched slightly too long. I followed up with a long black after my meal. It was smooth but with a little kick to it. Still nothing special about the beans they're using.

The one great thing about this little cafe is it's location. It's quiet, even when full, and this just makes everything you order a whole lot more enjoyable. Service was faultless and, if i lived in the area, im sure this would be my favourite weekend spot.
