Gone are the days of the generic tuckshop feeding dishevelled uni students living below the poverty line. In their place, hopefully, are more venues like this.
Housed in the RMIT City Campus, long known as the breeding ground of creative designers and their ilk, Pearson & Murphy's was always going to be stylish. What is slightly more unexpected is the quality of the food on offer. Cafe standards are augmented by Middle Eastern flavours, while the coffee is right up there among the best in the CBD.
With the prices kept to a reasonable scale, uni students now have no more excuses for malnourishment or caffeine deficiency.
