If you've yet to try an authentic pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart) then now's a good time to give that sweet tooth an indulgent hit. Pastelaria Caravela, on the corner of Bronte Road and Allens Parade, is Bondi Junction's tart central (of the Portuguese kind of course). This Portuguese patisserie and cafe harbours the freshly made morsels described above, as well as other cakes, pastries, rolls, waffles, and the obligatory liquid accompaniment, coffee.
