WONDERFUL FOOD
Lovely, nutritious and delicious food. Fairly good service, but order double of everything to save waiting. You will need to book, as it was packed out. Only criticism is that the Naan bread was disappointingly cold. We will return. Fantastic!

Mouth Magic!
This place is great! A very small place but with beautiful decor of ornate lanterns and mirrors, photos of Afghanistan on the wall, pleasant ambient lighting. The service was a bit slow (probably due to only 2 people serving in this small family business) but it was extremely friendly. The food was really delicious. The standout dish for me was the Mantu, incredibly delicate dumplings filled with sweet onion, with a yoghurt topping and ground lamb - superb flavour and texture, I would go back just to gorge myself on this dish alone! I also adored the 2 side dishes I tried, the spinach with paneer and the eggplant in a tomatoey sauce with yoghurt. Both of them melted in the mouth. There were other dishes I was extremely curious to try, so I will definitely be heading back there, and will be recommending this place to all our foodie friends. Extremely reasonably priced - all in all a great night out!

My new favourite place!
There is something to be said for going to a place where you can feel in the atmosphere that everyone is loving being exactly where they are, and they know they are in for a great treat with dinner!
I had been recommended to eat here and my birthday was the first opportunity we had to go out.
I can honestly say, the food exceeded all expectations I had and we had not even got through our entree's before we had requested a reservation for a weeks time to come back!
We had 2 x entrees, 2 x mains, 2 x sides, 2 x desserts + corkage for $80~! Leek turnover, dumplings with ground lamb, a chicken and onion dish, lamb fingers (ground lamb pieces), milk balls with rose water and an icecream dessert like never before. We were so full!!!!
Everyone there were loving being there - staff and patrons alike. There is no outlook and it is amazing that the atmosphere is such a buzz for a busy main road outside. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant now we know about it. Fatima was the most beautiful wonderful host and we loved meeting her too.

Another Triumph!
I love taking friends here. It's so simple. Order every appetiser to share Order the Kabuli and Narenge Pilaws - the best rice dishes you'll ever have. Order sides to suit - about one per person. The Spinach and Paneer one is the best. Force yourself to have dessert. The Sheerkyat (from memory) ice cream is the best! Sit back and enjoy the compliments on your knowledge of this fine cuisine. And pay the bill, which is never as much as you think it should be. Take a nice Shiraz (BYO) if you feel the need for a drink. I like to Drink Dogh (yogourty and savoury) followed by cardamom tea. It was quiet on Wednesday, it's a bit raucous on Fri/Sat !
