not a great experience
I had wanted to try this restaurant for ages, and finally got there recently. I was disappointed; it was busy and we had a table next to the staff traffic. Along with that, we waited a while for the menu and water and had to ask about bread. I had pate for entree which was great, however my pork main dish lacked the excellence I had anticipated and my dessert of two mouses was ok, but a dish not dissimilar to a choice from a gourmet cake selection available from many up-market cafes. We were unfortuntately also in earshot of the table next to us receiving a dessert they had changed to something else. The decor however is smart and pleasant. Although pricing is reasonable, I wouldn't pay more for the experience. Perhaps I was having a bad day.

Great food, friendly
We ate with our two daughters age 12 & 15, the waiters were welcoming, friendly and helpful, though maybe a little too formal at times. The food was outstanding, even the kids agreed! Atmosphere was cosy, not too anything really. Prices maybe a little lower than you'd expect from a quality restaurant, well worth trying.

Reminds me of being in Paris
I love this restaurant, it's one of my favourites - reminds me of the time I was in Paris. Food is always of a high standard, service is very French and the atmosphere is very French bistro - can be a bit noisy at times, but it's just the sounds of people enjoying good food. Everything I've ever had on the menu has been fabulous, so try it all!
