Wonderful Staff!!!
My daughter and I eat here quite a bit - it's her favourite restaurant! The food is above average, but it's the service that keeps us coming back! The staff are always great, but tonight they went above and beyond. Thank you all, especially the wonderful ladies that cleaned up the "milkshake disaster" and made my daughter feel better about it all. And Terry - definitely has a way with kids. Thank you all!

Disapointed with service
After an enjoyable sunny winters afternoon cycling around Goulbourn, I looked forward to finishing the day with a some afternoon tea at the Paragon, before getting back into the car for the trip back to Sydney. It wasn't overly busy, and after catching the eye a waitress (there were 3 walking around) thought I would be attended to shortly. Not so. After waiting what seemed like another 10 minutes I was about to get up and walk out when another waitress from afar must have seen my agitation and walked over and took my order, albeit in an efficient but not so friendly manner. The order came quickly and although the coffee was good the cake was dry and almost needed a knife and fork to eat it. I should have complained about the poor service and not so good cake, but just handed over my $8.50 to the guy at the register and left. Bit of a let down and has spoilt my image of the Paragon. Won't be back any time soon.

Relaxing, recommended
My mother and I stopped in for mid morning breakfast, on our way back to Newcastle on the suggestion of my father who used to be drummer and told us alot of musos stopped in when touring and recommended the place. We were extremely happy with the level of service, considering they had most of the restaurant booked out for a Greek holiday function. The food was fabulous and staff friendly and helpful. We are returning for lunch tomorrow so i'll update next week xx

Great Diner
We stopped in here by chance on our drive back to Sydney from Canberra. Service was really, really friendly and helpful. It was a great find for our family of four where everyone wants something different to eat. Sure, the food is not amazing but it's better than McDonalds and whatever else is on offer on the trip from Canberra to Sydney. At least they have a huge choice of food and drinks on offer, friendly staff, old school booths to sit in and clean toilets. We had a great time at the Paragon Cafe.

Luch at The Paragon
I took out a valued customer to the Pargon on Friday the 18th Sept for lunch. The waitress that seated us was very rude and abrupt. The meals we ordered turned up in quick time however we tried to eat it and only got 5% of the way in to it when we gave up due to the poor nature of the food. When paying my bill at the front counter I expressed my concern to the cashier who in turn replied " oh thats not good " then as we left said " have a nice day and see you soon ". I will not be eating at The Paragon again.
