Modern Italian cooking doesn't get much heartier than this ripe selection of woodfired pizzas, house-made pastas and juicy beef, lamb, chicken and game dishes. The signature meal here is the tender rabbit cooked in white wine and lemon, though there's plenty of equally satisfying mains that deliver value for money. With a welcome BYO policy, this restaurant allows the diner to enjoy an authentic Italian experience with a drop of the good stuff.

Watch your bill and ask for price of desserts
We enjoyed our entree and main meal (main meal was a small portion compared with other restaurants). There is no menu for desserts, so ask for cost of torte/tiramisu/mudcake, etc., so you don't have any surprises when you pay the bill. We didn't get an itemised bill.

Scammed with the bill!
Firstly, I'd like to say that the food is great. We both had Calabrese pizzas and a Garden Salad with Garlic bread for an entree. The flavours we just and I felt like it hit the craving I had. Also, the table service was very attentive.
The downer on the meal was the fact that when I went to pay the bill I presented my Entertainment Gold Card for 25% off. The total was around $75 and after the discount I was charged $63. I paid without thinking but on the way out to the car I worked out the if $63 was 75% then 100% would have been $84! So the bottom line is I was short changed out of $5-10!
My advice: If you want good food and mostly good service but dont mind in double-checking your bill at the end for cheeky theft then this place is great.

Thoroughly enjoyed the capretto here, the goat just melted off the bone and into my mouth, served with polenta was very generous. Other people at the table had the pork chops and the pink snapper fillet. They were aweseome. We loved the dessert trolley, the chef-made crepes were truely enjoyable to see. A fun, delicous and very fulfilling night out.

Disappointed
Not good, veal sauce was very salty, pink snapper was more like dory, small meals for an Italian restaurant. The bill was a shocker, there is a lot better value around Perth for a lot less money.

DELICIOUS
A group of us dined here and we really enjoyed it. There was 6 of us in our group and we were really looked after. We all shared different entrees in the middle, the calamari, polenta and pizza delicious. The mains were great too. Wines and water were always poured by the staff, very attentative. Look forward in going back there soon. Thanks Paradiso.

Disappointed
My wife and I with two friends went for the first time - we wanted to try somewhere different and used the entertainment book for ideas. The food was very average and overpriced for the quality. Except for my wife's saltimbocca which was excellent. I have to say all the other dishes were very bland. Corkage is expensive at $9, the tomato salad cost $8, we had about an hour wait between entree and mains. They also did not give the correct discount on the entertainment book (only 10%). For the price we paid there are much better restaurants in Perth. If I ever do go back and I would try it once more, I would stay away from the calamari and pasta - stick to the meats.

Nice decor but not much else
Pizza was average in taste. Mains were also very average. The salmon pasta was very salty and so was the rabbit. The dessert was also very average in quality. Price of dessert was extremely steep at $14.50 per item! Coffee was $4 and again not very good.

Fresh fun fantastic
We all had a great night out here the other night. Restaurant was packed out and the staff handle it so well. Our meals came out so delicious with vegies or salad on the side just as a garnish, the choice is yours if you wanted any extras and we sure did. It is fabulous place to dine with friends, a truly authentic experience and great to see the chef come out and give the waiters a helping hand.

Great food, service and atmosphere
Like someone above who had an unhappy experience with ordering. She couldn't tell us whether vegetables came as a side for one of the dishes so we ordered a side of vegies, only to find the dish did in fact come with the vegetables, so the side dish was unneeded.
However, the food is superb and the waiters extremely attentive with classy skills. The atmosphere is great and it's always full so book ahead.
Just order anything and enjoy it, you won't be disappointed if you don't have preconcieved dishes in mind.

Dinner at Paradiso
I was very disappointed with Paradiso. The service was absolutely shocking. No one could tell us what came on the antipasto plate. We were charged higher for our antipasto plate because we wanted it to come out with our mains. The meal sizes were very small and there was little atmosphere.

Paradise found
Great restaurant for inner suburbia. The veal is so tender here, always is. Desserts are fabulous, and it is great to have a restaurant with tablecloths and napkins too. My family enjoyed the polenta and the arrancini. The owners do a great job here, always taking care of their customers. A great night out.

Oh my God
Oh my God, the food is totally sick mate. Italian food at its finest. Joe the super chef is outstanding in the kitchen and Maria his cute wife and boss is truly fantastic running the front of house. Don't have lunch before you go because you need to keep room for the apple pie - best in Perth. We will be back.

Paradiso Splendido
My wife and I had dinner at the Paradiso restaurant and was absolutely delicious. The flavours are truely authentic Italian and the chef Guiseppe Anastasio can create beautiful dishes with such simplicity. The service is the best in Perth and what a treat to have such a wonderful local restaurant in this area.
