This new cafe from Adriano Matteoni, previously of Glebe's Clipper and Annandale's Clover, has Stanmore locals frothing, even if it is housed in the unlikely and ever-so-grungy old storage room at Stanmore Cellars. It scrubs up a treat though, with a sparse but warm interior and plenty of cushioned crate seating outside. Along with an awesomely well-travelled brekkie and lunch menu and coffee list that reads like a round-the-world plane ticket, there's a focus on chocolate and sweet, sweet goodness, which is never a bad thing. Already filling a void in the hearts and stomachs of Stanmore's cafe-culture starved residents, this is shaping up to be a sure-fire winner.
