Pancho Villa was a Mexican revolutionary, whose position as a voice for the people caught owner Lee Passmore's attention, inspiring him to name his restaurant for the rebel. The walls are adorned with black-and-white photos of Villa, while informal, chunky wooden tables litter the space - some rebelliously engraved with previous diners' contributions. Panchos has become notorious for its chilli con queso dip - thick, cheesy and delicious when clinging to the rough surface of a crusty corn chip. The rest of the menu features everything from chicken enchiladas to bean burritos; all best washed down with a little something from the extensive shooter and cocktail list.

Panchos - Dinner
I've been here twice in the last year, and both times had a great meal & drinks. It's a hidden gem really, we had a group booking as there was about 12 of us & this place was recommended by a few people for being good value for money. It was quite busy so had to wait a little while for waiter to take our orders for dinner, but was impressed how quickly they brought the food out...it all looked so appetizing! Generous large serves - it was delicious! We ordered dessert & that was devine! Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone that wants to try something a little different, it's great value for money, good food & reasonable prices. It's my first time eating Mexican (and I don't like hot & spicey) but the waiter was very good at explaining anything on the menu I didn't understand (would be helpful if they maybe put a picture/photo next to each item on the menu so you could see what it looks like before you order - and see how big the serve is) but I'd definately go back here again :)
