The restaurant at this local institution, affectionately known as "the Rex", is heaven for families, sports-lovers and bargain-lovers alike. There's a children's play area and the staff are welcoming and family-friendly, plus there's live sport playing on the TVs and the steak specials are legendary: they are served with chips and your choice of salad or veggies and are decent-sized and good quality meat. This is a must for anyone in the area after a relaxed pub meal.
