"The Paddo", as this local is affectionately known, serves up hearty, no-frills pub food. The daily roast lunch is a bit of a bargain and attracts plenty of punters after a good, old fashioned feed. Monday night is steak night and on Tuesday nights you can get two-for-one dinners, so there's pretty much something for everyone here. A popular grazing menu entices many to stay on for a few drinks after lunch and all afternoon picking at tapas or a light meal, until dinnertime rolls around and they're ready for another full-sized plate of pub grub.
