This very popular Chinese restaurant has gained a very loyal following over the years. At peak times patrons are packed in like sardines, but when you get to choose your own fish live from the tank no-one really minds. Pacific House is a real find, but don't tell too many people!

Yum!!
We don't eat in any more as we find things like vegetables a bit expensive ($10 for a bit of Bok Choi and oyster sauce??) but regularly get take-away Duck and Roast pork from here... Tried most of the Duck houses on Victoria St and this one is in my opinion the best.
Highly recommended!!!

'A great cheap eat'
A last minute decision led us to this small humble restaurant. To be honest I was not expecting to much from this dining experience but looks can be deceiving...Upon arrival we were given some great Chinese tea and a small chicken and vegetable broth. It was quite tasty and definitely welcomed on a Winters afternoon. This was a quick pit stop so I only ordered a main which was the Black Pepper beef on rice with the addition of a fried egg. Within ten minutes the meal arrived. It was quite well presented and it had a mixture of stir fried green beans and capsicum over the bed of rice. The flavours were good and the beef tender with the perfect amount of black pepper.
To sum it up I could not fault this restaurant, and I will consider it one of my cheap eat locations. Looking at the other reviews on service makes me wonder a little as I thought it was not bad. The only thing we would have liked was not to ask for tea. Nevertheless it was brought over instantly once the thermos was raised towards the waiter...

A fine cheap and speedy meal. Don't bother with meat dishes, except for the 1/2 Peking duck, and head for the fish. Watch out for 'market price' - you may get stung for $100 lobster! Pi Pi Paradise is the way to go.
