Very happy
Second visit to this restaurant, service was excellent both times and the food and presentation was fantastic. The whole experience was terrific. We thoroughly recommend Oxley's.

What a wait
Their food is good, the outlook great (on the river), but what the heck happened to our food? Waiting, waiting, waiting. We arrived at 7.00pm, there were only say 4 other tables dining, we were a big group (16) so we had pre-arranged a set three course menu... and... we waited, waited waited. It was terrible. It was a work-client/guest dinner - a thankyou, and people left before their dessert arrived, because... we were waiting, waiting, waiting. Is this to get us to drink more? Because they were hovering around us asking if we wanted more. And there were certainly enough waitstaff for the limited number of diners. So... all those around me said they would not come back. I am not going back. We didn't get our main until 9.30pm... I didn't leave (because i wanted my dessert) until after 10.30pm.... waiting... waiting... waiting... Just extraordinary. And, let me reiterate - i am never going back.

Satisfied
Being a first timer at this restaurant I was pleased with my choice. From the beginning they had ample parking reserved specially for their customers. We sat near the window which overlooks onto the water and we could see the city lights. The menu had a good selection of foods - we tried the hot and cold seafood platter for two which was very filling and a good variety. We didn't have to wait long for our meal at all and the service was very good as well as the atmosphere. Overall would definitely go there again for a nice dinner out.
