Banjo Paterson's famous poem Clancy of the Overflow inspired the names of the Hotel Bruce County's main restaurant, Clancy's Grill, and this smooth and stylish lounge and cafe, the Overflow Cafe Wine Bar. With a chilled wine room that can hold up to 1500 bottles, Overflow certainly earns its "wine bar" credentials. Of equal enjoyment here is the modern-Australian-meets-Mediterranean menu, encompassing light meals, heartier mains, and rewarding desserts and cheese plates. From the larger offerings, you may be swayed into trying the wattle seed-dusted kangaroo fillet; the signature chicken parmigiana (it's a parma with a gourmet difference); and the spaghetti marinara with a seafood medley. It's safe to say that this cafe overflows with gustatory temptations.
