A small, simply-styled bistro, Osteria la Passione is perfect for indecisive diners. A six-course Italian feast is all that's on offer here, and though you may order more dishes than these generous six, it's unlikely you'll need to. So leave your ordering anxieties at home and indulge in a bit of chef Carmine Constantini's authentic, rustic Italian cuisine. The menu offerings change daily, but of this you can be certain: all the cured meats, pasta and bread are made in-house and the produce is as fresh as you're likely to encounter anywhere in Melbourne. BYO is available, so bring a bottle, friends, a willingness to let go of any control-freakish tendencies and a healthy appetite, and you should be just fine.
