The Original Barbecue Inn is one of the stalwarts of the Adelaide food scene and would cause angels - or perhaps Athenians - to weep with its Grecian-inspired food. Partly suburban Australian, mostly Mediterranean, this restaurant sits auspiciously in the middle of Hindley Street in Adelaide, which has become a bustling mecca over the last few years. The pace may have changed but the promise of genuine Greek food hasn't, and it's unlikely that you'll feel like the wallflower at a Greek wedding here.

Still got it Right!!!
Was a great pleasure to once again be dining at a splendid Adelaide Iconic restaurant. Celebrating our sons 29th Birthday we were greeted warmly and the Birthday boy had his first drink delivered "on the house". Food was absolutely sensational! Massive serve, great quality and all served with terrific smiles and humourus banter. (Birthday boy is a butcher by trade and was overly impressed by quality of the meat), two waitresses rounded off our evening by taking some pictures of our family and wishing us a fond fairwell. Will certainly be taking our next lot of visitors to savour this great restaurant. Thanks for a great evening bringing back so many fond memories and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
