Omni serves up authentic Spanish and Italian cuisine in an intimate and romantic setting. Inside is a melange of velvety dark chocolate seating, crisp white linen cloths and candlelit tables. Outside a tranquil courtyard features olive and lemon trees and a bubbling water feature. The menu changes weekly, with the option of sharing tapas or ordering individual meals. The Moroccan spiced lamb shanks served with sweet potato mash is a good choice from the dinner menu, while the draw card from the entree selection is the king prawns; a staple and popular meal is the seafood paella. The dishes are well-priced and the place usually fills up with couples on the weekends, so if you want to impress on that first date we recommend booking in advance.

An utterly pleasant surprise!
My partner and I wandered into Omni on an overcast Sunday morning looking for a hot breakfast, but not expecting much else. What greeted us was a beautiful little restaurant with a wonderfully relaxing ambience, fantastic service and exceptional food! The lady who waited on us made us feel extrememly welcome, never stopped smiling and was attentive without being obtrusive. I ordered scrambled eggs, with caremilised onions, fetta and mint served on sourdough toast with rindless bacon and roasted tomatoes. Firstly, they were kind enough to adapt this meal to be gluten free for me and secondly, it was BY FAR the best version of bacon and eggs that I have ever had the pleasure to eat! I was sated roughly half way through the meal but couldn't possibly leave any on my plate- it was too good! My other half had ricotta pancakes with berry compote and ice-cream, and he was absolutely rapt. For someone whose a picky eater it was a huge success, and (as with myself) he finished his meal despite being full because it was just soooo good!
In short, this was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time (and I eat out several times a week) so do yourself a favour and try it out!
