Ensconced in the historic rural town of Gisborne, Oma Slow attracts enthusiastic locals and visitors up from Melbourne (it's under an hour's drive from the city) who enjoy the good things in life: fine food, wine and company. What's more is that a repeat visit will deliver you a completely different culinary experience, as the menu changes on a weekly basis, always including around eight to ten entrees, starters and mains (with one being vegetarian) and one dessert and cheese platter option to finish on a high. The idea is for diners to feel like they're visiting a friend's place for dinner, in the comfort of a classy restaurant environment.
