Father and son dynamic duo Charlie and Tony Colosi (partners in Leichhardt's renowned Grappa) have joined forces with husband and wife team Carmen and Alex Milozzi to open Oliveto in Rhodes. Oliveto Satisfaction
I attended Oliveto with my wife for our anniversary on Thursday 15th February. I was a little apprehensive about dining there after reading a previous review. I must say my dining experience there was excellent. The service was personal and efficient without crowding our dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and most importantly the food was delicious.
While Oliveto is not a cheap dining experience, it certainly is worthwhile trying for that special occasion. The penne with crab meat and chilli is highly recommended.

Avoid Oliveto
In a party of 10, the waiter brought out half the meals and then after 15 minutes when the rest of the meals hadn't arrived told us to start eating or it would get cold! No hint of an apology. Food was passable but at prices you would expect a bit of wow factor. The restaurant had atrocious acoustics: you could not hear the person two seats away from you without shouting. After paying about $250 a couple I would say it was a waste of money. For that price, there are countless Sydney restaurants with great food and professional service.
