Dont believe the hype
Don't neccessarily believe the hype. The food at O'Connells is good but not extraordinary. Entree was calamari with an Asian salad which was fresh and crisp but not fiery or fragrant enough for my taste. The Porterhouse was beautifully cooked, but on the whole...they play it very safe with flavours. The sides of potatoes, mash and pumpkin with pine nuts are definitely where they got more adventurous.
