Susie Johnson was the chef at Oasis Restaurant before she and her husband Garry took over managerial duties. Now Sonia O'Bree and Grahame Newton are in the kitchen of this a la carte establishment, using local produce to cook up meals such as rump steak with a red wine pepper sauce (the wine from a local Lachlan Valley winery); and barramundi encrusted with macadamia nuts and lemon myrtle butter sauce. Oasis looks out over a landscaped garden - complete with waterfall feature - and offers splendid views of the adjoining golf course.
