Set in the heritage-listed Northern Hotel, this Irish-themed traditional steakhouse is delightfully rustic. The laidback, inviting atmosphere is perfect for those after a quiet evening out. Though the Northern is best known for their signature Angus beef, if you're after something lighter try the chef's seafood salad of pan-tossed prawns, scallops, mussels, octopus and squid with raspberry vinaigrette. There's also the ever-popular Kentucky-style smoked baby back pork ribs marinated in whiskey and barbecue sauce, but they're not for the faint-hearted.
