Owner Matt Cohen is a New Zealander, which can perhaps explain the name of this friendly cafe, as well as its laidback appeal. Plywood furniture, white walls and concrete floors make up its simple, modern decor, and it is frequented by the locals of North Fitzroy. Many go to get their fix of bagels, pides and Bombay toast, a spicier version of French toast. Espressos are made with Coffee Supreme, in line behind Peter Jackson and Neil Finn as one of NZ's finest exports.

great coffee!
You've got to hand it to the Kiwi's, they know how to do a great coffee. Everytime we go here I wind up getting a second coffee because the first was just SO good!
