With a name as ostentatious as this one, everything about the place had better be good, or you're setting yourself up for a fall. Luckily, No Ordinary Cafe passes with flying colours.
The kids' playmats and child-friendly menu make No Ordinary Cafe a magnet for new mothers from all over the north shore. But if you can't handle the idea of prams and bubs, then you can stick to the front of the cafe; the mums tend to gravitate toward the back.
The daily special soups on offer here are definitely worth braving the tide of toddlers for, as is the strong and smooth Grinders coffee. The cauliflower soup, although not always available, comes with a high recommendation, while the open burgers are the pick of the lot for those with a bigger appetite to slay.
