Taking his passion for Japanese cuisine to the people of the northern beaches, owner/chef Hideaki Serizawa presents his labour of love, Ninja Japanese Restaurant. Building and drawing upon his former experience as a chef at a top sushi restaurant in Tokyo, Serizawa goes to town with his authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi, agedashi tofu, teriyaki chicken and nasu dengaku(grilled eggplant in an aromatic miso sauce) delicacies. Just like the food, the dining room brims with true Japanese style, filled with framed traditional artworks, neat dark wood tables and chairs, and an especially attractive terrace garden that gets streams of sunlight on warmer days. But if you're in a hurry, by all means grab a bento box.
