Never again
Very, very disappointing. The service from the staff was terrible. It is overpriced and of poor standard. Don't waste your money!

Best service in Bendigo
Fantastic atmosphere aboard the nine seven six restaurant tram. At $98.00 a head the experience is fantastic. The maitre'de has a wonderful bubbly attitude, as did the other waiter, who really knows his job and does it well. The night was greatly set out, with all my expectations exceeded. I will be going on it again and telling everybody about it. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Great Tram Poor Service
Great Tram, Great Food, OK wines (all inclusive at $89.00), amateur service however really lets this package down. Firstly the food is first rate, the journey through Bendigo's historic city centre is excellent. Now that the city has attentively added lighting to its key buildings the night vistas have a grand sense of scale. It's worth dining for this alone if you can survive the over confident, bullish, inexperienced host/maitre'de afront. This is a real pity because I have dinned here twice and the first time was very good. Now however you are told that wine will not be served unless you drink this glass of water, ordered to attend the toilet stops whether you want to or not, talked down to in a condescending manner that is truly insulting and baffling. Our party of 19 was a mix of medical personnel, nurses, psychologists, radio announcers, Bendigo tourism seniors etc and were underwhelmed by the unnecessary didactic manner of the host waitress. We were all left asking ourselves why would anyone pay $89.00 for such abuse?
Partonage has sadly dropped off since the service level has waned which is a real shame for the city. Visitors to Bendigo would be far more rewarded travelling on the Talking Tram during the day and dining at nearby Whirrakke at night where the service isn't necessarily the best but at least they're courteous.
