Nicola's Ristorante

Nicola's is an Italian restaurant that feels just like eating at mamas. The walls, a pleasant sponged ochre colour, are peppered with Italian streetscapes, making it feel more like Roma than Bunbury. The atmosphere is intimate, with candles and white linen-clothed tables, so this is a great place for a romantic rendezvous. With a menu full of hearty favourites, you'll leave feeling pleasantly sated.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!
Having recently visited this restaurant I would have to say that I was nothing short of disappointed. I have always loved this restaurant but after recent visits I can no longer call it "Bunbury's finest".
The main meal was unchewable (seafood cannelloni) and when I was asked if the meal was ok and I commented that it wasn't very edible the wait person giggled and left! Again, when I went to pay and was asked if things were ok to which I said it was not up to its usual standard, again I received a giggle!
It was not just my meal that was terrible, my partner also had a meal in which the pasta was uncooked. I mean there is al dente and then there is raw - and this was definitely raw! On a good note, the tiramisu was exceptional as was the garlic bread. So if you want to visit this restaurant- just order garlic bread and dessert!
