Sunday morning catch up
My first visit to NYT was extremely enjoyable, great atmosphere,good choice of menu. The meal was well prepared and presented and the service warm and friendly. We were seated outside at a large table as a group. At the conclusion of the meal we were asked by a newcommer if they could share our space, as one of our group had gone to pay and we were near departing. We invited them to take a seat. On seating they proceeded to light a cigarette.... call me old fashioned but I was offended and asked what they thought they were doing as this was an eatery with many patrons "still eating". They responded with "it's the law" ......it's ok it's outside Ok or not yes it maybe the law although I strongly doubt this is the intended interpretation. A great place I will visit again as everything was way above average

Great for a coffee and catch up
I have been here on two occasions now, for both brunch and lunch. Brunch - waffles were delicious and definitely worth returning for. Unlike any other! One serve feeds two. Lunch - tried both the curry and pumpkin/lentil pie which were both good. Food isn't neccesarily outstanding, but doesnt have to be - the atmosphere really contributes to bringing you back again.

Excellent Kangaroo dish...
Had a late lunch there ordering their special for the day called kangaroo meat with mustard and salad. the rare cooked roo meat with mustard was fantastic going with the rocket salad which have crispy bacons, fetta in it. combination of freshness of the meat with some saltiness of bacon make it really tasty. Recommended to go for a try there (not during lunch break if possible due to the limited seats & crowd) but hopefully they'll put that into their regular menu in future!
