Burnt Offerings
Ordered a char-grilled rump steak, medium it came out black, burnt & well-done. Sent it back & did receive a medium unburnt steak as a replacement but no apology! My husband's steak also well-done and extremely black & burnt, but he just used the pepper sauce to try & disguise the burnt taste, which failed! Another in our party only received their meal (fish) after we had finished our meal & we enquired about why the the fish hadn't arrived. Again no apology when the food was brought out!!! Unfortunatley it was extremely dried out & tough... it would have been sent back but we had a movie to catch so didn't have the time.

Needs more cowbell.
New York B&G has always had decent food, going there on father's day I was greeted with a sticky floor from the dance parties the night before, and a waitress who seemed not to care about their customers. Things could be better, but if you're not too worried about the staff then it's an ok place to go.
