Offering some of the best bento boxes in Sydney (according to many loyal Nazimi regulars), this place is a true CBD find, hidden as it is downstairs in a building opposite the QVB in York Street. The kitschy Japanese cuteness hits you on arrival, and it's hard not to instantly fall in love with the mini lamps on each table, the mobile of soft pink hearts hanging in the hall, and the adorably friendly and eager-to-please staff. But wait till the food comes, and you'll be even more glad you ventured down here, with gorgeously presented dishes like the Spider Roll (which comes in its own hand-drawn web of Japanese mayonnaise), the aforementioned bento boxes which are in high demand come lunch time, and the vegetarian dinner box, which is generously and thoughtfully prepared for the non-meat eating Japanese food lovers. In all, a great little find (and it is very intimate) that you'll want to keep all to yourself.
