Awful
Stayed at Aarons hotel (first mistake) for a few nights on business & dined in the restaurant last night. Service was very friendly and attentive. I had been hanging out for ribs for the last week and so when I spied them on the menu I decided to try them (second mistake). The serving was enormous and consisted of 4-5 sets of ribs, not the baby pork ribs you usually get but obviously from a large animal. Drowned in some type of gravy, which also drowned the wedges the ribs sat on, there was very little meat on the ribs - pretty much all bone and fat. When the waitress cleared the unfinished plate she asked me how they were and I told her they were on the verge of being inedible, no apologies, no discount (on $30). I noticed the group on the table next to me started with bruschetta - a pile of tomato and onion on white sliced bread, not good enough.

Great lunch
We recently said farewell to a colleague and 25 of us went along to My Place (which I chose through this website!) for lunch. We had a great time; food was fantastic, the function room great and the service outstanding. Well done. We were so impressed we've booked for our branch xmas lunch!

Amazing service
I wanted to meet up with friends at an inexpensive, relaxed restaurant and I think I hit it on the head by choosing My Place. The service was amazing, amazing, amazing. The servings were BIG, I recommend the spicy pork spare ribs!! Beer on tap, couches to chat after dinner and friendly staff makes this a wonderful place to visit!
