And it doesn't disappoint, offering Surry Hills diners an innovative, contemporary menu, and dual dining experiences to boot. By day, it's known as Tuk Shop, a casual canteen selling the street food Thai cuisine is so well known for. By night, the space transforms into a sophisticated, intimate and relaxed restaurant with an open kitchen, exposed light bulbs hanging from the warehouse-style ceiling, Thai street-style murals and schmick wooden tables. There's a separate vegetarian and gluten-free menu which pleases those with special requirements no end, and everything on it and the regular menu shows off this place's distinctive ability to take a classic and turn it on its head.
