Arriving in Carlton in early 2009, Mutti's Restaurant & Bar takes you back to an authentic Austrian kitchen, where the hills are alive with the taste of schnitzel. The atmosphere and cuisine follow an appropriately homely theme, with everything overseen carefully by owner/chef Thomas Stocklinger and co-owner Philip Arnold - both known already from their other venture, Cafe No.12 in Prahran. If you love a good apple strudel or German schnapps, Mutti's is the place to go for Austrian-German hospitality and gastronomy.

Fantastic Find
This Austrian Restaurant was a fantastic find. The service was great, staff genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Big portions and tasty sides to choose from. I've never really eaten Austrian food before, but really enjoyed it - it was like a home cooked meal at its best. A great selection of beer and wine. It is very relaxing with a funky interior and logo. Will recommend to all my friends!!
