By day, this is just another ho-hum burger joint - a little hole-in-the-wall kiosk decked out with plastic table settings, chalkboards and an unfussy covered area. But come evening - we're taking late-night evening, mind you - this venue takes on a primitive, otherworldly magnetism, drawing in booze hounds with the promise of their humble fried and grilled tuckshop-style offerings. The late weekend trading hours are a blessing to those craving something a little on the greasy side, and with a modest pricing system the cafe has earned a solid following among the student and backpacker clientele.
