Like stepping into a pool of oozy dark chocolate, Mud Dessert Bar's interiors are smooth, sensual and downright sexy (we're talking comfy brown banquettes, warm glowing lanterns and maroon and tan walls displaying the Mud brand design). The concept itself is rather seductive too - Mud owners Nicole Cottrell and Neville Scott (of the nearby La Quinta on Oxford Street) strive to bring an innovative range of mouth-watering desserts, breakfasts, light meals and tapas bites to the Bulimba clique.
Let's face it: it's hard to resist the likes of Belgium chocolate tarts, tiramisu coffee sponges, and deluxe banana sundaes. Embracing the 'dessert' them wholeheartedly, Mud has dessert wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks such as milkshakes, smoothies and iced chocolates.
