This restaurant is a pleasing mix of fine dining and relaxed atmosphere. Its sparse but elegant furnishings are set off beautifully by antique mirrors and soft lamps. Plasma screens are easily visible from the full-table service area, but thankfully do not dominate the dining room.
The menu offers mod-Oz cuisine with Italian and Moroccan influences, combined with the more traditional pub fare of steaks and fish and chips. Head chef Michael Gilbert's upmarket menu lets us know he takes his food seriously, though the menu does feature classics such as chicken schnitzel parmigiana.
