From the genius team behind the Stir Crazy, Opium Den and Rice Pot Thai eateries that dot Sydney, this latest venture on the northern beaches is sure to be a hit.
The unmistakable style of the modern Stir Crazy restaurants is just as present in this, the first of what we can only hope will be many Mortar & Pestle restaurants. Intimately lit and decked out in different shades of polished timber and modern fixtures, the overall contemporary design contrasts beautifully with the focal bare-brick wall on one side of the restaurant.
The menu sticks closely to the tried and tested model that has seen the Stir Crazy branches achieve such success. A good blend of old favourites mixed with some more authentic regional dishes makes this a menu that will easily please most people who diner here.
